We always have to patch test your for any brow or lash appointments.
Even with a patch test, there is still a chance of a reaction of the treatment, however, most people who react do so at time of patch test.
Some people become reactive to products over time such as lash glue. If you do have a reaction to our glue after your treatment, we do offer complimentary removal, but no refund on the actual service.
To book a patch test for lash extensions, please visit our website where you can book a 10 minute slot as we attach some lashes onto your own.
If you require a patch test for a brow/lash tint, you can pop in any time during our opening hours. Always best to text to check we’re open as we will close early or open late if we have no bookings.
For an LVL patch test, please text 07789 472 789 and we can squeeze you in somewhere between appointments.
All advanced bookings require a 50% deposit to be made to secure your appointment if made in the salon or over the phone. We will retain your 50% deposit as a booking fee paid at time of making your booking and carry it over to your next booking for all payments made in the salon by credit card or cash should you need to cancel. Appointments booked online are secured using card capture and NO MONEY IS TAKEN as long as you cancel or amend in line with our policy. We cannot fill that booking when it's cancelled less than 48 hours before so appreciate early amendments or cancellations. If you cancel of amend after 48 hours, we’ll keep your deposit if paid in salon or over the phone and online bookings the card stored on file will be charged. We do not make a profit on keeping your deposit. Although we run a cancellation list, those on it have normally made alternative arrangements and gone elsewhere. If you're not sure you'll be able to keep an advanced booking, we'd rather you booked nearer the time and didn’t hold it just incase. We lose approximately £12000 a year due to late cancellations and amendments that we can't fill.
Products & Services
We offer a range of treatments using high quality, authentic products tailoring our treatments to your specific needs. We cannot guarantee any product once you have left the salon. If there is a problem with your nails/lashes/brows/body, please tell your us and we will do our best to ensure you are 100% happy before you leave. If you don't tell us at the time, we can't rectify the situation before you leave.
If you do leave and a problem arises, DO NOT REMOVE your nails/lashes/body products until we have seen them. We cannot assess any issues if we don't have a product to asses. We can provide you with an aftercare instructions and we hope that you will do your best to adhere to our advice. All our repairs are chargeable. If you do have a problem, we'd rather you told us than all your friends and we will always do our very best to help!
Vouchers are non transferable for cash. They must be used by their expiry date which is 6 months from date of purchase. No extensions will be given. No change will be given. If damaged, lost or ruined, no replacements will be offered. No photocopies. Gift vouchers must be presented at time of use. Any raffle prize gift vouchers are bound by their own Ts & Cs which will be on the voucher.
We are happy to accept cash or credit cards. WE DO PREFER CASH PAYMENTS WHERE POSSIBLE. Please ensure you have funds available for your treatments at the time as we do not offer any credit services. Non payment will be reported to the police as theft. Deposit can be made via PayPal or by popping into the salon. We can take payment via credit card over the phone too. We do not offer refunds on any of our treatments. If you do have any issues, please let us know asap (ie within 48 hours).
Due to health and safety, please ensure that all pets are kept away from our treatment area. We use hazardous materials and wouldn't want anything to happen to your beloved pets. We do remain a pet friendly salon though. Our insurance policy does not cover us for any accidents your pets may have around our work area and any damage by them will be chargeable.
Child Safety Policy:
Our concerns are for the safety of your children.
We understand how challenging it is finding time to spend for yourself. We also understand that your “me time” does not always align with your beauty appointments.
However, our policy strictly prohibits children in the salon unless they are having a treatment of their own. We will accept waxing/threading clients from 12 years old. Nail, facial & make up clients from 14 and lash & spray tan clients from 16. All under 18's will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian throughout their treatment.
Our salon is not child-proof. Sharp instruments, hot wax, chemicals and a busy, congested area make for a potentially dangerous environment for young children. Kings Hill Nails Beauty Lounge staff are dedicated to providing each of our guests with the highest level of services possible.
